Question about Nuvico NVJV-4000N Video Recorder
Help! I have been unable to get the motion alert icon to appear on any of my four channels, and the channel icon doesn't turn red and blink with motion alert. "Event" does appear on the left upper corner of my screen, but the white dot remains despite activity on my cameras. Thus I assume the DVR isn't recording the action. I followed the Nuvico instructions, but I must be doing something wrong. Thanks!
Bud is correct. Also check that you are asking the DVR to record these channels. I would go through each of the settings and make sure you have enabled recording, the motion mask is correctly setup and that you have done everything that is required to start recording. You may want to reboot. Turn off DVR and unplug from power. Then reconnect and turn on. See if recording is enabled. You may want to contact Nuvico support if this does not work.

Under motion settings you must select all or parts of the screen to be viewed.you may have them all unselected.
