Most likely, there is a blockage in your exhaust. take it apart and check every inch from your dryer to the outdoors. i clean mine once a year, it keeps the dryer running efficiently. when lint backs up in there, the heat cannot get out and there is a sensor that will shut off the heating element when it gets to a certain temp, so your clothes will take a long time to dry

On my 2006 Volvo xc90 when I come to a stop I get hesitation and bogging like it wants to die

Double check your intae thottle plate for carbon and cleanout the idle air control valve and seat if there is a lot of buildup on that plate. That plate is what allows air to pass through freely at idle. If it is dirty, clean with warm soapy damp cloth. Make sure the cloth is damp and not soakng.

What are temperatures warm and hot

Air temperatures in a tumble dryer can be as hot as 175 C (347 F). That said each dryer is different and the temperatures that can vary with both manufacturer and age. If you're talking about drying clothes that say warm versus hot, they're referring to the standards of 90 C and 150 C (194 F and 302 F).

NOT DRYER CLOTHS LIKE IT USE TO TAKING MUCH LONGER

Check for clogs in the vent air line. If dryer lint or some obstruction is slowing the air flow it will take longer to dry clothes. Also the dryer may not be getting hot enough. Check to see if the clothes feel hot or warm when you reach inside. If it feels hot enough it is likely an issue with air flow. heat and air flow are required to dry clothes.

Dryer doesn't heat properly. There is warm air, but it takes two cycles to dry clothes

If your dryer gets warm but your clothes are taking longer than usual to dry, then the cause is most likely the Lint filter that is clogged thus blocking the moist air to escape: remove all the 'fluff' that is stuck to the filter.
In all cases, make sure that the hot air is exhausted outside the room where your dryer reside.
Hope the information is useful: let me know how you go.

My clothes come out wet after running for a length of time but they are hot

You have an vent issue..If the clothes are hot but not drying your not getting proper air circulation, you need airflow thru the unit to help remove the moisture from the clothing other wise you end up with warm moist clothing... Start unit and go outside to where the dryer vent comes thru the wall and check the airflow with your hand ,you should feel a good flow of warm air. If not some where between the unit and the vent their is a restriction either in the flex duct or the duct work in the wall which will need cleaned out before the clothes will dry in a normal time frame..Plus it cost a lot to run the dryer 2 or 3 cycles to dry clothes Hope this helps Good Luck
