My Call log clears every 15 to 30 min automatically. System is behaving very slow. One of the AT& T person adivised me the clear the the event logs (Alt LGLG then Clear Log). Cleared many times. Removed photos, deleted un used applications. Still having the same issue

Tip: BlackBerry Losing Text Messages or Call Logs?
Are you having issues with your text messages vanishing without deleting them? Or maybe you notice your call log is suddenly empty? Both of these are symptoms of a full memory. What can you do to avoid this? Clear out as much as you can from your BlackBerry. Move pictures, ringtones, music, and videos to your microSD card if you have one. You can even set your camera to save pictures there by default. Delete programs you do not use. I often download a free trial
or try out freeware that I discover I don't need or like. I often forget about these programs which are taking up my memory. Make sure to remove them either using Desktop Manager's Application Loader or under Options, Advanced Options, Applications. Keep your log clear. The BlackBerry keeps a log for trouble shooting. Just hold down the alt key and type lglg from the homescreen. Once the log comes up go into the menu and select clear. Make sure to close the log when you are done. See what programs are open. This is also a great help on the battery. From the home screen hold the alt key and press the back button. You will get a banner of programs that are running. There will be some BlackBerry applications that are always running, such as phone, messages, and BlackBerry Messenger. Clean out old e-mails, text messages, and call logs you don't need. I often accidentally save an e-mail or a text. I try to check my saved messages regularly and get rid of what I don't need, such as my flight info from a trip I took three months ago. Check your themes. Do you have lots of themes installed on your BlackBerry? They take up memory. You may want to delete them in Options, Advanced Options, Applications. Remove any media you are no longer using, such as old ringtones or mp3s that have worn out their welcome on your BlackBerry. From your Desktop Manager use Application Loader to see what languages are loaded on your BlackBerry. You can remove any you don't need. Also consider removing any other the option applications that come your BlackBerry that you may not use, such as Password Keeper or BrickBreaker. If you don't use it, free up the space. Try any or all of these as they fit for you. These steps helped me stop my vanishing text messages.

Goto call log.
Highlight a phone number.
Press the blackberry logo button to get the menu.
Select call history.
That will tell you everything that you are looking for.

You probably need to have the software in your phone updated.  Goto blackberry.com and download the new 4.5 software to your phone that came out last week.

That should all the call to come up using the procedure I gave you in the previous message.

My Blackberry delete my texts and call logs automatically. Please

the trouble is that you have used all of the memory on your phone to check it go to the little tool symbol that looks like a wrench and then go to status check to see how much free files you have if it says zero you will need to delete some unwanted files most of the time its if you have a lot of ringtone or music but you can also get a memory card after you selete some files turn the phone off and take the battery out and replace it repeat the steps to see how much free files you have then

New blackberry curve 8310 will not stay powered on battery fully charged the phone powers on but after no specific time interval the led in the upper right coner will tern red and the phone will power...

This can be caused by a number of things. 1st you need to check the battery terminal connections that connect your battery to the main board. They need to be bend forward to make sure they have firm contact with the board. (you need to open the phone for this)
2nd look inside the USb port where you plug in your charger. Does any of the Copper pins appear out of place (there are 5). Is any of them missing or bent back?

Blackberry regularly wipes clean call log and sms

I was thinking that you have Corporate IT security on your phone and it resets your logs. However since you said you got it new from a reputable place, I am kind of puzzled. Any solution to fix this issue involves a lot of work to either reflash your phone or remove the IT. It would be best to replace it at the Store if that option is available to you

Hello - my call log and texts aren't showing on my blackberry curve 8310 - not sure if i need to change a setting?

The problem is you don't have enough free space, so the phone deletes the call log and text messages to make more room. You basically have to delete any applications you don't use. Go to this website to fix it:
