SOURCE: Access Master Garage Door Opener opens by itself

The most common cause of this is a bad wall control or the wiring going to it. The wall control goes bad from use and the wiring sometimes has intermittent short caused by the staples the installer used.

SOURCE: Where to buy remote control and reset My garage door opener also

To erase the memory of the opener so that your old remote will no longer work you need to locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit. Press and hold this button for 6 seconds. No remotes will now work.

To program the new remote when you get it, hold the button down on the remote and then press and immediately release the smart/learn button.

Call any local door opener repair company from the yellow pages and you should be able to buy a remote from them.

Most likely your door sensors are out of alignment. Make sure they are pointed directly at one another.

Reset garage opener

Look up the procedure to reset the remotes for your specific brand and model. Usually a pretty simple procedure, such as opening the garage with the hard wired unit while pressing a reset button on the remote.

I have to "Access master" remote controls to open

Depends on the model. Some have a small screw on the back, some have a small 'door' that slides open and some have a small slot on the bottom that you use a screwdriver or the sun visor clip to insert and twist. Yes they do have a battery.

We have an Access Master garage door opener that will not allow door remotes to sucessfully close the door completely without holding the buttin down until door is completely closed and same with the wall...

Sounds like your door sensors. Make sure they are pointed at one another and the small light on each one is lit and not flickering. Tweak them a little. If you cannot get both lights to come on you have bad sensors.

My access Master 350 will not open or close when using remotes

If the light in the wall control is flashing your opener is in the lock/vacation mode. Press and hold the button with the lock icon for 3 seconds. If this is not the case your logic board is bad.
