If you have checked the plug and the fuse in the plug and they are both okay, then is could be the capacitor inside the machine and you will need to call out an engineer to repair it

check your power outlet first. if power is good, check your power cord. or you may have an noise filter board, or control board issue. if power is good, you may want to call in a pro to check the machine side.

My washer wont power up. It does nothing. No lights, no clicks nothing.

most of the time is something simple like :
1 # look if your wall outlet have power ( breaker ampere are sufficient ? )
2# or look in the manual if it have a fuse inside the machine
if you find nothing a call to the model dealer and ask it supposed to be free
or call a repairman and ask for the price for a visit to fix the problem ?
call more of one repairman to get the better price!!

Check the outlet first. If the outlet is ok, then you have a control board issue. Replace the control board. Good luck.

I have a top loading Fisher and Paykel washer. Nothing happens when I press the ON pad. I have checked power source. I have unplugged and plugged back into electrical outlet. Are there any suggestions...

Hi just read your posting. Now from your posting you have checked the power outlet and there is 100% power at the power point. Is this correct?Did you try a small appliance such as a toaster or hair dryer to confirm there is power there?Did the machine light up when you unplugged and plugged it back in? What is the model number of your machine?Sorry for asking these questions but If the machine does not light up when you turn it on at the power point then there is 3 reasons for this, 1st --The motor controller is faulty, 2nd--The pump is open circuit, and 3rd--- There is no power at the power point. Please reply with additional information on the questions and I am sure I can help you further.

Kenmore elite 11021086000 not getting any power i replace thr power board an still notting what to do

First check that you have electrical power available to the machine. If you don't own a multi meter you can check the outlet you are using with another appliance. Also, you might be having a GFI which protect against electrical shock and these are very sensitive, tripping at very low currents. Any machine that works with water is likely on a protected circuit and if there is no sign of this protection at the outlet you are using, check your breaker box to see if you find breakers that 'look different' and these will normally be equipped with a 'test' button.
Let us know if you want something more else please accept the suggestion.

Thank You for contacting

I have no power to my washing machine. It's not the curcuit, water issue, screen issue or drain issue. It just won't turn on and my door is locked with wet clothes in it.

check the plug where it connects to the back of the washer. Use tester to check to see if you have power at the outlet.

Water not going into dishwasher

First you are going to want to check the water connections to make s ure that the screen is not clogged and if they are not clogged then there is a solonoid valve that may have failed when these solonoid valves fail they fail in the closed position thus not allowing any water to enter the unit
You also may have a problem with your power switch but if it seems like everything is working ok but no water than i would deffinatly look at the solonoid valve being the problem
the cost to replace this is about 50 dollars if you do it your self and about 150 if a service man has to do it ok?
so i would contact a local appliance parts center that deals with your kind of machine and find out if they have the part on hand before starting any majior repair ok?
I hope that has been very helpfull for you
best regards michael

WE just installed both the duet washer and dryer. The dryer starts up just find but the washer will not turn on. Checked the outlet and it is there seems to be no power getting to the machine....

Hi, check the following trouble spots below. you will find the issue in one or, all the areas stated.

1. No power to the washer
Make sure there's power getting to the washer. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the washer, if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replaced.

2. Lid switch/door latch
The washing machine may not function if the lid switch or door latch mechanism is defective. The switch is usually located near the door. Replace if found defective.

**If you are getting power to the washer and, step 1 and 2 check out ok, replace the timer control or control Board and start switch as well.(You can test the continuity or, resistance level of the Lid/door switch with a multimeter(ohm).
