SOURCE: i can not remove closed captioning on all my

As best I can tell, the TWC remote requires about 12 steps to turn CC on & off - very annoying and I can't understand why it's not simpler. Hit the blue menu button near the top; scroll down or up to Settings, hit enter, scroll down or up to Captioning, hit enter, scroll to how you want CC (off, on, or just when Mute), hit enter, then hit Exit to clear the screen. A pain, no?

How do I turn off the subtitle / closed captioning on a Samsung series 6 6300?

Is the captioning coming from a source such as a Sky box? If so, you need to switch off closed captions on the source box and not the TV.

Cant find closed captioning

No. There is no code for too turm closed captioning ON/OFF. If your remote control have a "CC" button, pressing it once must eliminate closed cption window. If there is no such button, you have to get into TVs menu option to turn it OFF.
For more details, refer to TVs' user manual.

Cant get closed captioning off

Hello
You haven't given the model number and brand name of your device. Yet I give you one solution. If you have its original remote control handset, and if it has a button marked "CC", press it once, will eliminate the closed caption from the screen. For an other press, it will come again. If there is no such marked button, get into the Menu, surf through to come the closed caption window, and hilight the Closed Caption option, and make it to "OFF"; if it is now in "ON" position. OK.

How to turn closed caption off?

If the cc button on your Sharp remote control isn't turning them off then the captions may be coming from your cable box. The hidden menu to access closed captioning on the cable box is usually found by turning it off and then (yes I did say turn the cable box off) then press the menu button on the front of it immediately after turning it off. Then you navigate down to captions and disable them. When you turn the cable box back on the captions should no longer be there.

This is most commonly caused by the use of a Closed Caption text box. This type of Closed Caption is not always supported by the broadcaster, and results in the appearance of a black rectangle with scrambled or no text.

This can be quickly resolved by adjusting the Closed Caption type to "CC1" or by disabling the Closed Caption feature on your television.

get in the menu and change the close caption with the Olevia remote control

This should fix you right up

The text function is normally part of the captioning portion of the menu. Go into the menu to captioning and turn the captioning off completely. If this does not eliminate the text box there are no quick fixes I am aware of.
