Question about Seagate Internal Hard Drives: ST3160021A 160GB Ultra ATA100 7200rpm 2MB Hard Drive (HDST160BV)
Good Day to all experts, I Recently buyed a used Seagate 160Gb ATA HDD in good conditions.
It worked perfectly in a week, As I was using it as a slave to save my stuff.
Knowing that my first HDD was just 32 GB only not enough for my new operating system Vista Ultimate, I put it out and used the one with 160Gb as primary. Then I putted the Operating System Vista Ultimate.
During the installation I accidentaly shutted down my computer. After that The HDD was not noticed in my computer BIOS. I reseted the BIOS and also remove and putted back the battery of the BIOS, and nothing worked. Also have try in different IDE Cables and still did not worked. Then I go to the guy who from I buy it and he have A IDE USB Cable . He tried out and apparently it did appear in his computer my HDD. What should I do to fix this. "Almost forgot The HDD 160Gb even through the guy said it worked still, it make a weird 1-3 minutes sound after what Shutdown error accidentaly I did, it like is scratched from the inside or something".PLZ HELP!!!
