How are the power and opc lights blinking?
Do they blink simultaneously or does one blink then the other?
How many time do they blink per second?
Also have you had it fixed yet? and if so what was done?
I had a similar problem with my set.
The blinking light is a indicator of a internal failure, it usually blinks as an error code, I have two suggestions, unplug the TV from the power outlet and let it set for at least 30 minutes not plugged into the wall outlet, then plug it back in and see if it has returned to factory defaults and returned to normal operation, if that didn't work then contact sharp @ 1-800-237-4277 and they will gladly assist you. I had a similar problem. Fleeting video, then audio only for few seconds and then nothing except the green power LED blinking on and off. I changed the power inverter board, backlight inverter boards and power supply board but still the problem is not gone.
Call sharp back again and tell them you first want to register for aquos advantage program, which is free. By doing that your service will go much quicker with them. You then tell them that you want to get set up for service. They will have one of their authorized professionals come and fix your tv in a matter of days. If their tech cannot fix it, they will replace your tv free of charge as long as you are within your warranty.
