Prd has blown

Go to dolphin showers website and book a qualified electrician . Do not take chances with amateur electricians from the local paper , or play pin the tail on the donkey with the internet companies who are hundreds of miles away from you . Go to www.dolphin-showers.co.uk and book your approved dolphin repairer.

Piece of P: youre prob right and its the pressure relief device, which is a silicone rubber ball that gets blown out of a branch of the exit pipe just behind where the hose screws on. If you are careful you can push it back with a small (non sharp) screwdriver etc, looking up from underneath. It would be easier to see if you unscrew the hose first.
