Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: WEB CAM OF LENOVO Y510 IS nt working in skype

Try pressing the "Fn" and "esc" buttons on the keyboard both at the same time to turn the camera on or off. It may work or may not, but that is the way it is supposed to work. There have been a lot of problems with this web cam and yahoo messenger. The only other thing I can suggest is to contact Lenovo and see if they might have another driver that can resolve this.

Which OS you are using? If it is XP then you may have to download the driver and then install it. Also check firewall settings because it can block certain devices. Even in xp thumb drive should work perfectly.

I have lenovo B550 laptop i used to use its built in web cam but suddenly it stop working...i tried everything(updating driver, uninstalling driver & reinstalling it, and i tried to use some...

Go to control panel-device admin-video/camera devices.
If no camera listed, then the camera is not working anymore, needs replacing, if listed but with an exclamation sign, try updating the cam driver.

Hope this helps.

Not working.........when i try to install lenovo easy camera software which is comes with lenovo CD " not web camera found " error comes. Model: Lenovo V460 P/N-59043530 OS-Win7 Platinum

Hi,

Welcome to FixYa! There's a possibility that the webcam is disabled. You can go ahead and download the latest driver from the lenovo website itself instead of using the Lenovo Disc. Pleae click on this link for you to be able to redirected to the download page. B560,V460 and V560 do have sme camera driver so it doesn't matter.

1. Click Download

2. Click Run if you are using Internet Explorer or Save if you are using Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.

3. Follow the instructions given to you.

4. When installation has completed, Restart computer.

5. Press and hold Fn key and Esc for you to be able to disable and enabled the camera.

6. Try to use the camera using the software that you have ( Lenovo Easy Capture, YouCam,Yahoo Messenger, Skype )

Hope this information will help. Thank you for using FixYa!

Intergrated web cam is not detected

Hopefully you are using vista 32 bit operating system.

Press fn+Esc to enable the webcam if not already available.
If you suspect that drivers are not available then you can collect the driver from the following location.

Web cam not working..

sounds like maybe another program, something that starts automatically is trying to use the camera, or the drivers have become corrupted.

Try checking all start up programs to make sure nothing is starting and automatically grabbing the camera. Generally only one program can use the camera at a time, so this might be the case.

If you can't find anything, try reinstalling the camera but removing the drivers and reinstalling them.
