Right click your default printer & click OPEN. Now right click on document , select delete/cancel documents.
If this does not solve your problem reinstall the printer, usually this will solve it.

Assuming that you cannot delete the print job from your print queue, you can try to reinstall the print driver. You might be able to reinstall the driver from the Dell website, but I needed to install it directly from the CD that came with my printer. Then after rebooting the computer I was able to delete the print job and have normal printer function again. Good luck!

Try turning off BOTH the printer and computer and unplugging the printer from the PC. Reboot PC and printer, then plug the printer to the PC. This should delete any remaining print jobs.

Printer 966. Deleting Print Job stuck in Que

Sounds like a problem with the spooler.
Try to bypass the spooler when printing by right clicking on your printer and select "properties"

Select the "advanced" tab and select "print directly to the printer".
Hoepfully this should take care of it.

Printer offline flashing light will not delete job

An offline condition can be caused by using third party ink or refilled cartridges.

To delete a print job that does not release the spooler, look at the bottom right of your screen. You should see a small printer icon. Double click on that icon to open the print queue Highlight the failing print job and then delete it.

My power went out during a printing job and now the printing job is stuck and I can not print it or delete it.

GO TO THE PRINTER DIALOG BUTTON, START MENU - SETTINGS - PRINTER, AND FIND THE PRINTER THAT IS HUNG AND RIGHT CLICK ON IT. CLICK ON OPEN WHICH WILL OPEN A BOX WITH ALL THE PRINT JOBS LISTED FOR THAT PRINTER. IF THERE IS MORE THAN ONE PRINT JOB START AT THE BOTTOM AND DELETE THEM ONE AT A TIME. RIGHT MOUSE CLICK AND SELECT CANCEL. THE TOP JOB IS THE ONE THAT IS HUNG BUT THE PRINTER WILL HANG ON ANY UPCOMING JOB ONCE THE HUNG OPERATION IS CLEARED. IF THE PRINTER WILL NOT CANCEL THE PENDING JOB YOU MAY NEED TO REBOOT THE COMPUTER. WHEN THE COMPUTER COMES BACK UP IT MAY PRINT THE HUNG JOB OR JUST DELETE IT - NEVER KNOW
