SOURCE: my ViewSonic computer monitor keeps displaying a Vga Not Support Message upon booting then the message Out Of Range comes up on a completely dark screen. Need Help

It sounds like the computer is trying to use a resolution that the monitor cannot handle. Boot into safe mode by pressing the f8 key during boot up and select safe mode. Once booted, right click on the desktop and select properties. In settings lower the resolution by moving the bar to the left and reboot.

I would move it all the way down, you can then move it up a step at a time once you are in normal mode again.

Hope this helps

OR

You can download it from here: Samsung Kies Download Link

Step III: Now you will face a window of 'Agree to the Terms and Conditions." You can choose the option of save and don't save the information. This option is that, Samsung will store your information of IP and hardware specifications on their servers for 2 years. It is totally dependent on you, which you want to choose.

We would like to recommended you to choose "Allow saving"

After firmware upgrade the HP 4015x will not boot up with the duplex unit installed. Boots up ok without the duplex. We even reapplied the firmware upgrade.

I had the same problem. HP Pro Support advised me to
deinstall the additional paper tray and the toner.
and reapply the firmware update 3 times.
It sounded stupid to me but it worked!!!
Be sure to use usb connection and wait 30 min between progress.

1 st time - no paper tray, toner, wait 30 minutes
2 nd time - no paper tray, wait 30 minutes,
3 rd time - all together now, wait 30 minutes

I hope this will help you and others,
Arthur

You might want to check your firmware version to make sure you have the lastest.

BETA Firmware Version 3.93.35.0.9This firmware fixes the following issues:
  • Printing issues with CUPS version 1.2.
USR5461a-v4.3.93.35.09.usr 1.8 MB 06-05-08

Firmware Version 3.93.35.0.8This firmware fixes the following issues:
  • DST (Daylight Saving time) Firewall issue with how IAC (Internet Access Control) works.
  • PPPoE server disconnect/reconnect
  • PPPoE inactivity timer
  • PPTP client disconnect/reconnect
  • backup/restore settings
Note: If upgrading from Version 3.91.37.0.3, follow these instructions before proceeding.
  1. With a thin tool, such as a paper clip, briefly press the RESET button on the back of the router.

  1. Download this file to a temporary location on your computer's hard disk drive.
  2. To upgrade your USRobotics Wireless MAXg Router with all operating systems, open an Internet browser and enter the router's IP address. The default IP address of the router is 192.168.2.1
  3. Enter your User name and Password. Click OK.
  4. Click Device in the main menu.
  5. Under the "Upgrade Router" section, enter the location of the USR5461-v3.93.35.0.8.usr file in the text box, or click the Browse button to search for the file. Then click the Upgrade button to begin the upgrade process.
  6. When the upgrade process is complete, the router will reboot. To re-establish a connection with your router, wait approximately 15 seconds and click Continue.

Problems with a Linksys Wireless-G Router

I would appear that your router has not taken the settings from your provider. There are a number of things that you can try; I recommend them in this order.
1. Turn off your modem, router and computer. Give then all a minute to get cold.
2. Turn on the modem, wait 30 seconds, turn on the router, wait 30 seconds, then boot your computer. Most of the time everything will be fine at this point.
3. If not, check the router setup. You access your router by opening your browser on a hardwired computer and entering 192.168.1.1. At the signon, leave the user blank and enter "admin" for the password. Check out the setup. If you don't know how to do this, repost or contact me -- there's just too many possibilities to list in this response.
4. If all of that looks fine, you may need to upgrade you router firmware. Not for the faint of heart, but you can download the latest from linksys and install it.
Try these things; if you don't have success, document carefully what happens at each step and I'll get you through it.

Firmware upgrade fail

If the firmware upgrade has failed there's a possibility that the router went bad already, first thing to try here is to reset the router by doing this steps, Press and hold the reset button of the router for 30 seconds while power is ON, then after that unplug the power of the router for 10 seconds and hopefully all the light will be back to its normal but if still the same and you cannot access the router setup page better contact Linksys and if its still under warranty have it replace....

Upgrading firmware

Downloading the Firmware Step 1: Before downloading the firmware, make sure that your computer has an active Internet connection. If your computer is plugged directly into the router and cannot get online, disconnect your router and plug your computer directly into your cable or DSL modem. Step 2: Once you are able to get online, click here to go to the WRT54G Version 5 Download page. Step 3: Click Download to download the firmware file. Approx. file size (Zip file): 1.39 MB If you are using Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) and Internet Explorer, you may see a 'Pop-up blocked' message in your browser Information Bar. If so, click the bar and select Temporarily Allow Pop-ups. Then, click the Download link again. Step 4: Click Save in the File Download dialog box that appears. Step 5: In the Save As dialog box, choose a location for the file (like the Desktop) and click Save. The wrt54gv5_fw_1[1].00.6_US_code.zip file will then be downloaded. Step 2: Make sure that the router's power is plugged in. Step 3: Open Internet Explorer. Type http://192.168.1.1 into the Address Bar and press [Enter]. Step 4: You will be prompted to enter a username and a password. Leave the username field blank, and enter admin for the password. Then, press [Enter] or click OK. NOTE: If you are asked for the password again, the router's default password was changed. Try a common password that you might have changed it to. If are still unable to log in, hold in the Reset button on the back of the router for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, unplug the power to the router and then plug it back in. Step 7: On the Firmware Upgrade page, click Browse. Browse to the location where the firmware files were extracted, and select the wrt54gv5_fw_1.00.6_US_code file. When the file is selected, click Open. Step 8: Click the Upgrade button on the Firmware Upgrade page to start the upgrade. The upgrade will take a few minutes - please do not unplug the router's power cord or make any changes during this process. Step 9: When the upgrade has completed, the following message will appear: "Upgrade is successful. rebooting...." Completing the Firmware Upgrade Step 1: Close Internet Explorer. Step 2: Hold in the Reset button on the back of the router for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, unplug the power to the router and then plug it back in.
