Upon upgrading my viewsonic it died. The upgrade process completed but when I went to do a cold boot after upgrading it just sat on the "Please wait for 30 seconds" and doesn't respond after that. Anyone have this problem or have any suggestions? Eagarly awaiting any response!!! Jenny

It sounds like the computer is trying to use a resolution that the monitor cannot handle. Boot into safe mode by pressing the f8 key during boot up and select safe mode. Once booted, right click on the desktop and select properties. In settings lower the resolution by moving the bar to the left and reboot.
I would move it all the way down, you can then move it up a step at a time once you are in normal mode again.
Hope this helps
