Question about Bosch Dishwashers
We have a one year old Bosch. This is our first problem. When going to start a cycle, I closed the door and the cycle started just like always except this time when I let go, the door opened and the cycle stopped. Our warranty has expired (just days ago). My husband is on floor trying to figure how to fix the latch. Any ideas?
Thanks a bunch!
My Bosch wasnt balck but had a white bit that stuck up on the door that stopped it closing - to fix and it might work here use two screwdrivers to pull on both sides from behind as such - recreates the latch on opening!

don't know what you did with the spring but it only needs replacing if it is broken

From your description, I doubt that the problem is door latch is the cause.
The first thing that a modern dishwasher does before it begins to fill with water is run the drain pump. It appears that this DW is not progressing to the next cycle (inlet water) and because the pump runs even when the door is open, I agree that the controller card may have failed.
If possible, inspect all the wire connections (remove main power before you do this) ... if there is a loose connection, the controller could do odd things.
Good Luck! Please report back what you find, OK?
