If the motherboard has integrated video, it can be disabled and another addin video card can be installed into an available pci-e, agp, or pci slot if your computer has one. This is not something you can do with a laptop, only a desktop computer. For example, when i put a video card in one of my extra slots it automatically disables the integrated video.
If your video card is ALREADY in one of the ADD_IN slots, it can be removed and replaced.

S video output Does not work on my Gateway GM5472 computer

Here are some things to try...

You may need to install some software and/or drivers for this hardware to work. Look on the manufacturers web site.

I see that the card goes into your PCI-Express slot. Is it intended to power both your monitor and a TV? If so, and the software/drivers are already installed, you may need to open a configuration/settings window or a control panel in order to redirect the video signal to the NTSC port.

It may be that you need to enable the card in your computers BIOS settings.

If you get only one BEEP at boot then the computer is working..

Do you have a 2nd monitor to test with?

if it BEEPS more then once...
pull out your mem chips and test,,
If itt works them one of the mem chips are bad if not..
pull out all pci cards and test.. if it works its a bad card...
if not unplug all HD and CD roms and test.......

If not fixed yet it maybe a onboard video problem...

But IF you put a video card in b4 the problem started then your bios may have auto set it sellf to PCI/AGP mode.

Check bios setings,, look for onbord setings for the video

Acer AM5641-U5520A will not

If you removed the memory modules and there is no change then I would start disconnecting one device at a time to see if that is causing the problem. Start by disconnecting the cd/dvd rom and then try booting the computer. Then try disconnecting any floppy drives or pci cards(except for video card). If it has a pci/agp video card then you will need to remove it and test it in another computer or test a working one in the problem computer. If it has built-in video then you will need to test a working video card in the problem computer. It could also be an issue with the power supply so remove it and test it in another computer or swap it out with a known working power supply. Also check the mother board screws that hold the board to the chassi are tight(the board uses them as a ground). Blow any dust out of the case and verify that there are no loose connectors. Also verify that the monitor is not the problem by testing it with another computer. Usually when a CPU is defective the computer will not respond to anything and will act "dead" so it does not sound like the CPU. If everything else checks out then it could be a bad motherboard.

Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your system for acer power f5

Can be HD cable, pwr to HD or HD it self. i have purchased new HD before and it was defective. Make sure all wires are tight and are going from to right spot. if this is ok check the HD cable.

No signal appears everytime I turn my PC ON. Blank screen appears. I checked my RAM module and its OK. Seems like theres a problem on the VGA port.

There is one of 2 problems here. first check the video card, since you mentioned port this sounds like its an on board video, so get a generic pci video card...nothing fancy just checking for video, if your out of pci slots either 1 remove one to test video or if your motherboard supports agp then get an agp video card. there like 20 bucks just go to a local repair shop. if that doesnt solve the problem then its the monitor.

there is a possibilty that the pci slot isnt working on your motherboard. try a different pci slot with the new video card.If all are occupied then swap one to test. if your using agp, well you only have one agp slot so go to pci. just use generic first dont get anything expensive when your testing.

This could be a few things though if you have already checked the memory and HD. The next thing I would tell you is that you should check the cpu. Also make sure that everything in the BIOS is set to the default settings when you start it.
