On my new Plantronics S12 Headset System, I hear a dial-tone (through the headset) when I press the headset button, but when I remove the phone and begin dialing nothing happens. I also tried a test call...

Unfortunately, the phone does matter. The S12 is designed to work with office style phones where the handset is just the mouthpiece, all other features located on the base. My suggestion is to get a phone of that style (you can find inexpensive ones at Wally world) and connect the headset following the instructions on this link for the Plantronics S12.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

My mouthpiece is condem because is no more working I need it own new mouthpiece please can you tell me the price, then I'll send money to then you send it to me. Thank you sir.

A little suggestion, if I may. I used the 9502 for some time (in fact, I still keep it), but, as I found it to be a big (200g!) phone, I always talked through bluetooth headsets, which worked flawlessly with it,by the way. Since your phone's mic seems to be faulty, wouldn't you consider using a BT headset instead?
Just my 2 cents...

Conect to an other phone.What PIN# to use?Motorola H700

Use 0000 for the H700. If you are pairing with an Iphone, steps are as follows:

Headset is off, with mouthpiece closed
Open Iphone and select Bluetooth to ON
Hold down the center button (usually blue light) so it shows purple,
Open the mouthpiece.

The Iphone should merge.
Mine did not ask for a PIN, but if your does, it's 0000.

Thanks to the solutions above for guiding me thought this.

I can't get my H710 to go into pairing mode... solid blue

First, if you've already paired it with another phone, make sure that phone is turned off. Close the headset and wait a few seconds, then reopen it by flipping out the boom (mouthpiece).

If that doesn't work, try this adapted method from the H700 model: Press the multi-function (center) button and hold it in until the light turns blue. As soon as you see the blue light, immediately open the boom (mouthpiece). Hopefully it will remain solid blue, indicating you're in pairing mode.

Broken Razr Mouthpiece

This is a hardware issue and a known problem with this phone. It's a simple loose/out connection between your board and your mic. Your carrier should correct it if it's within a year of original purchase.

They can't hear me.

hi there

is there by any chance the mouthpiece speaker may need replacement? if you use bluetooth headset, it would be fine. but without bluetooth, they cant hear you.

i suggest you look for a replacement mouthpiece speaker for that to work.
