Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Removing Pro-tech table saw blade,

Ralph, the arbor thread on a left tilt table saw is "standard" thread direction - that is, when looking at the end of the arbor (which of course you can't do on a table saw) turn the nut in a clockwise direction to tighten, counterclockwise to loosen.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

I have a Pro-Tech table saw Model 4008 and neet a miter gauge assembly. The bar is 5/8ths. Any comparable replacements out there?

I tried all of my sources.
all I can suggest is try running an ad on Craigslist ... or search Pro-Tech there and see what pops up.I've seen them without rip fences , with bad motors etc. but otherwise complete for $30 ...
good luck.

The motor brake on my pro tech miter saw doesn't function. Is there a doable fix ? Also need an owner's manual

The brake on saws like yours are controlled by the switch. They do go bad and are easily replaced if the parts are still available. Your heading says you have a Makita tool but you didn't give the model number. If you go to the Makita home site at:
www.makitatools.com/en-us/Modules/Home/Default.aspx

you can put your model number in the search box and get a parts breakdown and owner's manual if they are still available. Parts are available online at sites like www.ereplacementparts.com where you can also get a parts breakdown but not manuals.

I need parts for my poulan chain saw a small plastic hose inside the tank gas tank.

If you have your EXACT model number you can use this site to find the part your looking for:

http://www.jackssmallengines.com/help.cfm

Start under poulan/weedeater then choose: / poulan pro / saw / gas / then choose your model number. It will bring up a parts diagram of your chainsaw.
Add the part to the cart by changing the Qty to 1 and then add to cart. You will then see the part and the price

There are so many different Poulan Pro model numbers that I can not even begin to guess your model.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,

Kelly

I am looking for an owners manual for a pro tech 4106 Table Saw.

Try Sears parts. CAll rather than email--1-800-252-1698. They can research it for you and will call you in 3-4 days. It is expensive--$10-11 including the manual, tax and shipping, but they probably have it. Sears Parts Direct website also has parts for the Pro-Tech bench saw. MRB
