There is a cover that runs up and down the door. This cover is removed simply by using a thin screw driver and peeling it off. You will find the Bolts under this cover. BE CAREFUL not to over tighten the bolts..

Called and watched mechanic who clipped of top and bottom covers with a screw driver then tightened both screws and replaced covers. Cost was $100 but I could have wrecked the door. Needs a special little star shaped screw driver head with ratchet fitting. Now equipped for next time.

Pulled the handle up to release it from the clips on the door. The screw in the plastic door handle that attaches the handle to the door clip was striped. I used a small amount of J B Weld epoxy to repair and reattach the screw. Realign the handle with the clips and push handle down to reinstall.

I called GE. They offered to send a repairman out and waive the service charge. The repairman came out the next morning and tightened all the "screws" which are a certain type that I have never heard of. Maybe we can go to Home Depot and get this special kind of screwdriver. It is not a hex screw driver but some other type that I don't recall the name.
