Question about Wacom Cintiq 12WX Interactive Pen Display Monitor
I have a "Signal our of range" message on the cintiq screen, but the screen is otherwise fully functional. Is there a way to kill this message? I have tried turning the monitor off then back on, unplugging it then re plugging it. The only thing that works is rebooting which is a bit of a hassle. All drivers are up to date and I am running Mac OS Leopard.
On Occasion, I can unplug the mini DVI and replug it to the system and that clears the message but that fix is inconsistent at best.
I had the same problem with the "signal out of range" box in the middle of the screen. I went to Display on Control Panel and clicked the Settings tab. Click the monitor icon for the Wacom tablet in the window (if you are using more than one monitor) and set the screen resolutioin to 1280 by 800 pixels. The "signal out of range" box disappeared.

I had a similar problem with my cintiq 12WX - i have managed to sort this problem but it seems to have lead to another problem (which i hope wont happen to you).
The way i did it was by going into CONTROL PANEL (please note i am using XP windows), then into DISPLAY, then into the last tab on the right aka SETTINGS. Once in SETTINGS go into the ADVANCED section, then click on the DISPLAY tab. In here you should have 3 things - monitor, panel and tv. The tv bit is irrelevant. Look at the MONITOR and PANEL tabs, if your wacom IS set up correctly when you click on the button (it is a circle with a line inside it) on the title (it will either be greeny/turquoise or red). If it is red, click it and the same button on the panel title will turn green aswell. Below the pictures of a computer and a laptop there should be 2 buttons that are the same for each. Currently, my almost working cintiq is set to having the button with two squares on it under the heading of 'MONITOR' and the button with a circle is on under the section entitled PANEL.
If this doesn't work I dont know what to suggest. The problem i am now having is getting the pen to work correctly.
Hope this helps.
