Sanyo DS20930 I was watching TV today when all of a sudden I lost the picture. I see only red/blue/black snow. The sound is perfect, I can change channels and get the different sounds. What do you think is wrong, and should I get it fixed or throw it away???

My 32' LG LED TV has suddenly lost picture! The sound is all right but the Screen is pitch black. After switching it on the picture flashes for a second and then the screen goes completely black.

its a lcd ? replace the lcd lamps or the inverter

I am having a problem with my Sanyo Flat Screen 42". I get a picture for a day or two and all the sudden I have no picture or sound, so I plugged in the red,white and yellow cord and then the picture came back on. Now today it is out again......

Try resetting the settings. In the menu there should be a settings option. Reset them to default of facory settings. Here is a website that mayl help you with this.

Does your screen light up or picture comes before it turns off? This could be from your X-ray protection feature, you will have to check the power supply output voltages.

Sanyo makes a fine TV. You have a problem in the vertical circuit causing the line. You should not play the set in that condition because you can dammage the picture tube. Call a few local shops to get an idea of what they charge to fix a vertical problem on a 20" TV. If the cost of repair exceeds about 65% of replacement, toss it. In my opinion the newer sets are lacking in quality compared to older ones. In short , they break more often. If you choose to buy a new TV stay with a known Japanese brand.

Tv was showing perfect picture now it's snow solution 1 please check antena wire & its socket. 2 check for dust where wire is connected. 3 loose contact or print break near tuner. 4 tuner defective.

On mine I took the rear cabinet off, unseated the card mounted on the picture tube, applied a little dielectric grease on the connector on the card and reseated the card, removed, re-greased and reattached the card. I have had no problem with either my or mom's which I did the same to since! This is an easy fix that anyone can do. The hardest part is moving the TV and reassembling the rear cabinet. Do not pull the cabinet back out more than you have to, to ease the reassembly of it.

Did you change the resistor by yourself? I am not sure if your TV has manual adjust on the back of the TV that you can adjust. Some times turning the TV Off and unplug it from the wall helps because it resets the TV. Check your Back ground color and see what is the dominating color. Blue, Green or Red. If this doesn't work please call a professional to look at it.

My panasonic Tv pic suddenly turned into a blue color I can't see the pic any more just can hear the audio.....any solutions????
