Question about Acer Aspire One Netbook 8.9" Notebook
There are 2 methods to find your IP address. To check your Computer IP address, go to Start->run->cmd->ipconfig/all. To get your Network IP address, visit this site Ip-details.com which gives you the Information about your Internet Service provider, IP Location and Country etc..

It depends on your operating system. If it is Windows, press the windows key and R then type "cmd" without the quotes and press enter.
That will bring up the command line interface. Type "ipconfig /all" without the quotes and press enter. That should give you all your networking information and your local area network IP address, which will most likely be different than the public one you get from your router. To find out what that address is, go to http://www.whatsmyip.org/ which will display the public IP address at the top of the page.
Please reply if you still have a question. Thanks.
