Question about Electrolux Kitchen Ranges
SOURCE: electric oven fan
This problem is caused by one of two components, depending on the model, there is a thermal cut in thermostat that keeps the fan running until the unit has cooled down and on some models there is a four wire timing device that keeps the fan running for a specific time after the temperature drops, the fault can only be casued by one of these components. Sesspod, 2 things... 1.) Pull the oven out and look on the back of it, there may be an envelope back there containing a technical data sheet which includes a wiring diagram. If not on the back, then possibly under the cook top. It is somewhere on your oven, sometimes the hard part is locating it. If you can find it, look closely and you'll see the wiring color and location is labeled. 2.) If you can't locate the tech data sheet, can you post a good macro picture of the back of your new switch so we can see what you're dealing with.

SOURCE: Oven fan noisy/broken
this noise probably means that the fan is about to stop working, this is what happened to mine. You can easily buy replacement fan off E-bay (it seems easier to find the right fan on e-bay that any of the confusing supplier sites). You then just need to remove the inside oven back and the outside electrical to replace the fan.

Why are the oven indicator lights flashing?
When power is first supplied to the appliance, a flashing time will appear on the display.
If a flashing time appears at any other time, a power failure has occurred. Press Cancel, and reset the clock if needed.
When the oven is not in use, the display shows the time of day.
If the indicator lights keep flashing after you have tried to reset the controls, then you may need to contact service person.
This is from the Jenn-Air website.

Hello westcowie, ILVE Service here.
First check that your oven's time is set. If the clock is not set the oven will not work due to a safety feature following a power outage?
