Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W5 Digital Camera
About 6 months after I bought it my W5 the flash started to show up problems. Pictures taken winth flash either come up to bright or to dark. As far as I have noticed, the first short flash used by the camera to estimate the optimal flash level comes up totally ou of the time, confusing the sensor. With pictures without flash the camera works fine. Is it a problem in the flash controller (if such thing even exists)? Can I fiz it myself?
Hello, in order to repair your camera the IC851 is to be replaced. This integrated circuit is used for flash control. Please do not try to fix it yourself. Contact your nearest Authorized Sony Service. If you need more info please advice.
