Question about Cameras
With increaseing frequency, when I plug my camera into my laptop, I get an error message (along the ines of "USB device not recognized. Press here for more help""). When I do press here, I get told to reattach it, and if that fails, replace the camera. But, it has some irreplaceable photos on it. Any thoughts on (1) why I am getting this message, and (2) cheapest solutions (download & buy a new camera, buy a camera with the same SD card, buy an SD card reader, download updated drivers (already tried, without success), etc.)? Thanks!
I'd say the easiest and best solution would be to buy a card reader. Not only would a reader get your irreplaceable photos onto your computer, it will work with your next camera and computer if and when you ever replaced either.
