Samsung WF-J1254, 5E error keeps coming back.

Error message 5E keeps coming back, even after we've cleaned the filter. Ran it without anything in it and same message. Any suggestion on how to fix?

SOURCE: Samsung WF-J1254(V/S/C/R) leaks water around

I have finally found a reference in Samsung's own knowledgebase, online in which they indicate that this appliance was designed for European water pressure systems and that in the US and Canada, often water pressure can be much higher than in Europe (although the manual says it is good for 800kpa, which is a darn sight higher than they use in Europe, I think European domestic supply is regulated to 400kpa).

Whatever the case may be, I have noticed that my house has what appears to be rather high water pressure (subjectively of course). So, first I checked the leaking with it set to a cold only cycle, and low and behold, greatly diminished (since it was only drawing water from one line, hence a lower volume of water). Then I closed both supply taps about 2 thirds the way, and voila, problem is gone.

It makes way less noise now when filling, and I cannot really tell that the washtime has been extended excessively due to the longer fill times?

Would love some feedback if this fixes your problem?

SOURCE: Detergent drawer

I ended up having to call Samsung support for this same question. Left to right two vertical bars = detergent (liquid or Powder) flower = softner, single vertical bar = bleach.

Wf 8800lsw samsung flashing spin light error code 5e

You need to clean out the debris filter behind the little flam on the bottom right hand on the front of the machine. If that gets clogged with anything, and you would be amazed at what ends up in there, you will get that message and the machine wont work.

It says in troubleshooting section error 4E is a water supply issue. The screens on the watervalve may need cleaned. Remove supply hoses on back of machine to clean them. If no improvement check water pressure coming from supply hoses. If pressure is good watervalves may need replaced.

Samsung WF7700N6W1 washing machine not draining

Could be a sock or something between the 2 drums that moves over the outlet hole from the drum when upright and trying to drain but moves away when machine is on its side. Get a flashlight and look through the holes in the inner drum and you may find the culprit.
A coin may also be stuck in by the pump blade, not always easy to see but worth a look.

DE error is coming on my LG wf-t90z20

Hi,

"dE" means you have a door latch error. If you've already tried to unplug the machine and that didn't correct the issue, the door latch assembly will need to be ordered and replaced to fix the issue. The latch assembly is just not reading that the door is shut properly even though it is.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

I get a error initializing scanner?

Background of issue- When 4345/M4345 boots up, amber light comes on under start button and the message "Initializing Scanner" is displayed. The unit will print but will not preform any scan functions.

Steps taken to try to resolve issue:
1. Updated firmware
2. Restored factory defaults
3. Took off cover in back of printer covering scanner controller board and reseated all cables
4. Took apart scan unit and cleaned (2)mirrors in scan head
5. Took off back cover of unit, reseated cables coming from scanner controller board
6. Ran Scanner Test, in menu (which everything functions properly)

Usually I would say scanner or controller board has failed but I had 3 M4345 come down with this issue in one week. The only resolve i've found for this issue is repetitively turning on and off the unit until it comes up without "scanner initializing" message. Once it comes up it functions 100% until the unit is turned off and issue will come back.

I'm at a loss here with so many units having same issue, open to any advice. I once took the formatter out of bad unit and put it in good one and it caused the issue in the good one but i'm double verifying this tonight. Thanks for any help.
