Samsung WF-J1254, 5E error keeps coming back.

Error message 5E keeps coming back, even after we've cleaned the filter. Ran it without anything in it and same message. Any suggestion on how to fix?

SOURCE: Samsung WF-J1254(V/S/C/R) leaks water around

I have finally found a reference in Samsung's own knowledgebase, online in which they indicate that this appliance was designed for European water pressure systems and that in the US and Canada, often water pressure can be much higher than in Europe (although the manual says it is good for 800kpa, which is a darn sight higher than they use in Europe, I think European domestic supply is regulated to 400kpa).

Whatever the case may be, I have noticed that my house has what appears to be rather high water pressure (subjectively of course). So, first I checked the leaking with it set to a cold only cycle, and low and behold, greatly diminished (since it was only drawing water from one line, hence a lower volume of water). Then I closed both supply taps about 2 thirds the way, and voila, problem is gone.

It makes way less noise now when filling, and I cannot really tell that the washtime has been extended excessively due to the longer fill times?

Would love some feedback if this fixes your problem?

I have an LG WM-12230FB and it is showing error code 5E. there is no reference to this code in the manual. Any ideas?? Many Thanks

I believe that when 5e is displayed it means to check the debris filter which is usually located at the bottom right hand side of washer and don't forget to drain the washer first!

Also, is there anything that would suggest the machine is otherwise not running properly?

I would also try to reset it by unplugging it or tripping the circuit breaker.

Let me know if you need more help and I would be glad to assist you further with this.

thank you

Samsung p1453 will not drain or spin

5E (or SE error) is displayed if the water level frequency detected is 25 KHz or less in the initial phase of the UNB -detecting cycle.

The Water Drain error can be cleared by turning POWER SW OFF and back ON.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

Error Message SE or 5E, I've cleaned the filters and changed many times the tube of outgoing water, but still no any resolutions, because I still receive the same message, any solutions please?

SE is actually 5E and means that the water has not pumped out of the machine in the time period allowed. It can be caused by a blockage so check the pump by taking off the black cover at the bottom right hand side on the front of the machine, be aware that if there is still water in the machine this will let it all over the floor. There should be a smaller white plug, twist this and pull and a small hose will come out to allow you to (slowly) drain the water.

My footup and footdown button is stuck and I keep getting an E1 error on the screen. Do I need to take it in for repair or is there something I can do to fix it? Machine will not sew because of the error...

Turn the machine off first and unplug.

If you've got a manual, look up the page for trouble shooting, this error message may be listed iwth a solution. I'd also suggest that you remove and clean out the bobbin holder. This is the little black piece you put the bobbin into. It has possibly dislodged if you've had a jam up. You will need to unscrew the two screws holding the needle plate down, take out the needle and pressure foot to give yourself some room too. Put the bobbin holder back into position lining up the red markings on the holder and the stopper, your manual should show images of this.

Once its all back together, turn on and hopefully it will reset to normal mode.
If you've done all this and the error message won't stop showing, then yes, you'll need to take it in for a service.
