Jd 8530 transmission vibration

Worn bearings or shaft joints would cause this, I would look at the drive joints first, transmissions in most cases don't vibrate.

1997 geo metro torque converter seal replacement how to remove seal and make sure we are removing only the seal.the car is a 1.3 l at.

This seal is located in the front of the transmission. Its called a front input shaft seal. You will need to drop the transmission and remove the torque converter. Once the converter is off if you look at the shaft protruding from the transmission just at the base of the input shaft you will see this seal.
you can rent a seal remover from you parts store, IE Autozone or Oriely's and rent the seal installer tool. This will insure that you do not damage the seal housing or the seal when installing the new one.
One word of advice would be to take the torque converter to a transmission shop and have it checked before reinstalling it. If it has a worn seal face or has a bad set of blades you would be money ahead to replace it while your doing it the first time and not have to pull it back apart 3 months later.

Transmission leaking through drive shaft

the rear seal on the tail shaft must have gotten damaged when you removed the shaft. it is available at any good parts store, easy to change. you have to pull the drive shaft back out, then you can use a small hook / prybar to pull the seal out, then tap the new one into place. pay close attention to the install height of the old seal before you remove it, so you know how far to drive the new seal in. good luck!

JD 6400 tractor, PTO light flashes when engaged but PTO does not work.

The most likely problem is the pto solenoid valve on the rear of the tractor. It could be the speed sensor but you won't know until you get the codes read by the dealer.I have had to replace the b.c.u. for this problem but it is not common.

2000 DODGE CARAVAN TRANSMISSION LEAK

A good mechanic should replace the seal with in 2-3 hours, mainly tearing apart your drive wheel on that side along with the drive shaft. This is a good time to replace the drive shaft if any of your CV joints are leaking.
Good Luck!! PHX
