Question about Dell Dimension 8400 PC Desktop
I am able to access setup (F2) and Boot (F12). Windows XP screen comes and and operates for about a minute and then screen goes blank. PC has two HDs, Drive 0 (160 GB) where the OS resides, and Drive 1 (1.5 TB). Have received messages in the past that say that Drive O is out of memory so I have switched programs over Drive 1. Thanks.
You are asking for trouble by placing programs that Windows uses on the other drive. You are better off using the 1 TB drive as a system drive. Sounds like your OS is corrupted.
