2005 52in Panasonic rear projection

Turned the TV on for about 30mins then heard a poppin noise then tv went black and red lite start flashing???

Try either cleaning the filter.......or check the bulb.....it may need to be replaced.

Whining noise sounds like the power supply in the TV ... not putting out the voltage it needs to project the image.... might have to consult with your TV repair

If the power led blinks its an error code such as 3 blinks means convergence failure which is the most common error for your model.Let me know the error code and I will assist you with what you need to do.

Tv won't turn on, keeps flashing red, will not turn a solid color


Sounds like the lamp needs to be replaced.

Before any repair or replacement, unplug the tv from the electricity for an hour, plug it in. This forces a system reset on the tv and may solve the problem. More likely you need a new lamp.
