I am having trouble opening google homepage very slow???could someone please help me...thanx Carol

Hi, I think maybe you have set the Chrome homepage to the website that you are visiting too much. Please go to the 3 dot and then go to the setting then find the search engine and after you can check chrome homepage.

In order to prevent programs like AVG from changing your homepage please pay attention to those options during the installing of these programs. They will often ask you to install additional toolbars or change your homepage.

To change your homepage please do the following:

1. Open your internet browser
2. Open the options/preferences
3. Usually the field for homepages is in the general tab or first menu you get when you open the options
4. Enter your desired homepage address in the homepage field
5. Save your changes
6. Enjoy your new (or old) homepage!

open browser, click tools, click "internet options" in the box delete what is set as your homepage and type www.google.com and apply. JOB DONE.

First open browser and select "Tools" then select "Internet Options"(bottom of dropdown menu) in the "Home Page" box delete what is there already and type in www.google.com and apply, then go to Control Panel>Uninstall a Program(Category Mode) and uninstall "Ask".

If you go to Google, there should be a notification asking if you want to make Google your homepage or not. Then you just have to click 'Yes'.
If that does not work, go to options and then find the General tab. There you can find the HomePage URL and just set it to www.google.com

IF YOU KNOW HOW TO GET TO CONTROL PANEL OPEN IT UP AND LOOK FOR INTERNET OPTIONS OPEN IT UP,DELETE THE HOME PAGE YOU SEE AND TYPE THE HOMEPAGE YOU WANT THEN CLICK APPLY SHOULD BE GOOD HOPE THIS HELP

Paste chrome://settings/browser in Chrome's address bar and press enter. Then in section Home page select option Open this page and enter the url of the site that you want for homepage.
