note: that the master reset will erase all your saved data
the unit off,and unplugged, try pressing and holding your finger on the low right
corner of the screen and slide the power switch to the on position
until you see the message "confirm if you really want to delete
all user data?" hit yes and let it restart. then it will set up the
nuvi again, so follow the prompts.
if that fails, hook up the nuvi to the web updater and get the latest update
Try to take it out of the car so that it has a completely unobstructed view of the sky. See if the signal problem is resolved. If that resolves the problem then you will need to find another place to attach it to the insude of the card. If that doesn't resolve the signal problem you will need to return it to the manufacturer. They have a program where they rebuild it for a flat fee regardless of what is wrong with the device.
