Question about Evenflo Baby Gear
I have a toddler bed that says from 1990 but I dont have the right screws for it and I dont remember how to put it together right. I dont remember what the screws looked like or anything, i bought it for my daughter 4 years ago and I would like to use it for my son but I cant get it together. I think I have all the pieces, I have 2 inside and 2 outside rails and the head and foot boards, the wood part for the bed, and 5 legs but dont know if I should have five or more???
Try calling the customer service number (212)-645-9033. I have not called them yet to get the conversion rails for our Delta Luv 5 in 1, but I'm hoping that they will know more than Babies R Us!!

1-Lower drop side to lower position. Then on the opposite side of the crib, remove stationary side. To remove stationary side, press the small tab on the end hardware(brown plastic piece that connects the rail to the frame) and then pull rail up.
2-Before reinstalling the conversion safety rail(csr), remove the mattress support bolt that is on the side the the csr opening will be(the foot of the bed). A new bolt will be used to reattach the mattress support in the next step.
3-Slide csr hardware onto the hardware on the crib ends. Insert two 1/4-20x2" bolts into each end. One bolt will replace the mattress support removed in step 2. Be sure to put the bolt back through the mattress support bracket before screwing into the end.
I have the instruction page with pictures if you would like a copy emailed.

SOURCE: Bed rails for Delta Martine Crib
I have this crib for my own child. I ended up buying a guard rail from Walmart. If you tie a knot in the strap after putting it through the rails and then tuck the disc between the side of the crib and the bottom of it, it seems to work just fine. Child has been using it as a toddler bed for well over a year now and there has never been an issue. Chiild is a restless sleeper too. So, I know it works.

If its like mine, you just remove the front panel that went up and down. Then lower the wood mattress support to the lowest level. You are now ready for the toddler bed. Once you want to convert to a double bed frame. You have to purchase a metal frame that holds the bed. Then attach the back and the front to the metal frame. This should like a sleigh bed. Good Luck, Nicol
