Check your AV or HDMI cable. It may be bad. Swap it with a new one. Also try a different monitor or TV. If you determine it is not your cable or TV and it is still under warranty call 1-800-4MYXBOX for warranty coverage. if your xbox doesnt show pics or sound you should send it back to the xbox company and they will fix it for you. do not open it up and fix it yourself. all you have to do is pay shippping which doesnt cost that much......... hope this helps
