How to choose the best BGA rework stations in India?

To choose the right BGA rework station, you need to know complete details about it. BGA rework is an important part of the procedures at electronic assembly and repair houses across the world. An enormously challenging procedure, the BGA rework involves high skill levels, as well as a touch of creativity displayed by the technician executing it.

The equipment with which an electronics assembly and repair technician conducts the BGA repair is called a BGA work station.

Actual rework involved in the BGA rework station is basically conducted following the assembly of electronic printed circuit boards or PCB. PCB assembly involves a long procedure of detail oriented and careful work execution involving steps such as soldering and desoldering of joints to assemble the perfect PCB. ASUS K52F Motherboard removal

NO

OH, I'm JUST KIDDIN'!

1) http://www.insidemylaptop.com/disassemble-asus-k-series-notebook/

2) http://ncandelier.free.fr/dem/ASUS_K52.pdf

Buy, and wear an ESD wrist strap, or use your motherboard for a Frisbee. ("Wow! Look at that THING Go!")

Use a multi-compartment container for the various screws you will remove.
Label each compartment for the area the screw/s come out of.
SOME screws look VERY similar to other screws.
Advise DO NOT mix them up!

Make drawings, and notes as you disassemble.
Use a digital camera, or video camera, or at least a phone camera, and GOOD lighting.

You don't need a Soldering Station.
A low wattage soldering iron (25 Watt?), Rosin Core solder, rosin paste flux, paste flux brush, Desoldering Braid. (Solder Wick)

[I will use Desoldering Braid over a Solder Su-cker tool, ANYDAY.
(Desoldering Tool) ]

My soldering statioon goot px 10 does not heat

Change either the tip or you have a bad element. The tip has a thermo reactive magnet, when it gets too hot the magnet releases and as it cools it becomes magnetic again. Check the fuse in the station or the wall plug.

Where to get ASUS P5QPL-AM motherboard component repaired?

If you are referring to a chipset replacement look online for a company that does this, and has a BGA Rework Station.

Not only will they have the proper tools, and expertise, they will also have access to the chipset/s needed.

You may find the price of replacing will outweigh the cost of simply just replacing the motherboard.

If you are referring to an Electrolytic Capacitor, any competent computer repair shop should be able to handle this.
Note I stated, "Competent".

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131394

Shouldn't cost that much. If it does seek a, 'Mom and Pop' computer shop.

{If you have decent de-soldering and soldering skills you could do it,

http://www.capacitorlab.com/replacing-motherboard-capacitors-howto/index.htm

If you repair/replace, I suggest using a 25 to 40 Watt soldering iron, .030 Rosin solder, Solder Wick, (Desoldering Braid), instead of a Desoldering Tool (Solder S-ucker Tool), patience, and a steady hand,

The Electrolytic Capacitors used on your motherboard are Radial Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors.

Why is it that when i turn on the stereo the backlight is too dim i cannot see what radio station that i tuned in.

You probably have burned out bulb(s) behind the display. Unless you are good at desoldering and soldering, it is recommended you have them replaced by a professional.

What is needed to repair my panasonic tx32pl10 with a colour problem

The minimum requirement to repair your TV are soldering iron, solder wire, soldering paste, desoldering pump, digital multimeter, knowledge of electronics & service manual of the TV. If any smd is to be replaced you need soldering station. A digital storage oscilloscope will be more than good.

Output transistor is out in car amp

Hello nymnym999,

You did not specify which Fusion amp you have but if the insides looks like the Fusion PP-AM60020 image below, you'll have to "desolder" the transistor.

8e329a2.jpg
First remove the heat sink from the transistor case. You'll need a controlled heat soldering station, a desoldering vacuum tool commonly referred to as a "solder ******", and some desoldering braid. Be careful with the heat around other components.

After removing the transistor, use the desoldering braid to clean off any remaining solder from around and in the circuit board mounting holes. Position the new transistor and solder it to the board. Put a thin film of thermal compound on the heat sink and remount it to the new transistor. Use just enough of the compound to insure an air-free join between the transistor case and the heat sink. Reassemble the case and you're finished.

Hope this helps.

Ginko how to remove on board ram in dell inspiron 1000 laptop

If you are refferring to the 256 MB Ram soldered onboard, then you have to do a precision desoldering and soldering job.

Roughly is the same job that the guy in the movie below is doing to remove the onboard ram done on a playstation.

Removing RAM

On your laptop the Ram chips are located underneath the empty slot for the additional memory stick.

A faster and better way to remove the memory chips without risking to damage the motherboard is using an hot air desoldering kit, but the desoldering station costs about $200, see below:
