Question about Dell Inspiron 1000 Notebook
You may try checking the network driver of your computer.
1. click start --- right click "My computer / Computer".
2. click Manager then look for device manager.
3. under device manager on the left column. Look for your network adapter if it has a yellow question mark or a red x mark.
Red X - disabled.(right click then select enable)
yellow mark - driver is not installed/corrutped (you need to install the driver online or from the cd that came with the computer)
Now, if the issue still the same. Try a different computer and check if you can connect to the internet. If the issue still the same. Call you Internet service provider to check on the connection.
