Question about Grundig FR200 AM/FM/SW/DAB Radio
My Grundig FR-200 has problem staying on the station. It picks up static, sometimes silence, sometimes it's right on station. I've found if I keep tapping the select dial (meaning the dial for FM,SW2, SW1 and AM selection) it will eventually get the station clearly. After finally getting reception I can very carefully move it around and usually manage to keep it on station. Any bump will mess it up again. Very irritating! Any ideas?

SOURCE: Loses sound
It is soppoused to seek when pressing search and scan and scan buttons If you dont like the idea of that for now on only use tuning up and down dial or buttons.

SOURCE: AM reception
If the internal antenna is broken that means the ferrite bar is broken, that does imply that the wiring around it is cut. If the two parts are not removed, the antenna may still be able to perform correctly (just as two magnets put end to end). You can try to put it in the vicinity of another radio to see if there is any resonance effect.
Hope it helps.

DOES IT HAVE AN "AUX" OR "TAPE" INPUT? Switch it off; If something is plugged in the jack - unplug it. That all will switch of the radio output.
