Hi John,

Usually to bypass a Bios password on a desktop, we have to just remove and reinsert the button cell on the mother board. Check if you can try to remove and reinstall the button cell as you are using a laptop.

Caution: By doing this,all your BIOS settings will be restored to default settings.
