Question about JVC Televison & Video
The television turns on but says no channels added, the remote doesn't seem to work and i think it needs tuning but im not sure how to do it?

1 if this new ordere it is exacly the same that should work when i say exacly that must have only the same button on it
2 you should try to take off the cover to that old remonte and try to clean the taste and then the change battery clean suport to battery wash your rubber taste and put all togheder and should work if that not hapened the problem it is from inside tv
and to that new one see if you have a shift buttun on it and push that or push tv button and try again should work

You most definately have bad capacitors in the power supply. try and get it repaired as soon as possible, not an expensive repair that iv'e seen.

go to menu select TV settings select add a channel In the scan boxes type 1 and 3 or what every you have your Satellite set to Then hit start scan The TV will come on reset to channel 3.

Hi , I have the same problem with my LT-42X688,so i called the service of my extended warranty provider . the TV technician just left and told me the motherboard is the problem. he said its the third one this week he has seen with the same symptoms. he ordered the motherboard and i've got to wait 5 to 7 work days before the part will be in . I will keep you posted when the guy will return.

You'll have to use the buttons located on the Tv. Should have a menu button and then you can use buttons like channel and volume up and down to interact with the menu. Input/video/source button typically acts as the enter key in a menu.
