T90 won't power up

After six months without batteries my Cannon fails to power up. Connections have been cleaned to no avail. Any ideas? Has a processor failed?

Lens mount fit

None directly. The T90 was the last Canon camera to use the older FD lenses. All newer Canon SLRs, film and digital, use the EF mount. However, by using an adapter such as http://www.rakuten.com/prod/adorama-canon-fd-lens-to-eos-body-adapter-with-correction-glass/216466533.html?listingId=120668308, you can use the old lenses on any Canon digital SLR.

Shuts off and won't charge batteries

What does the unit do without the batteries attached? Try re-seating the connections.

Is this the same behavior as before you replaced the batteries? If so, the unit itself has likely failed and will need to be replaced.

Battery won't charge up

One or more of the cells in the battery may have died while it wasn't being used. LI-Po batteries are memory resistant but they can still develop one if they're left fully discharged too long or at a half charge too long. They require full charge\discharge cycles to keep them from developing a memory.

Canon T90 haven't used camera for 6 months, new batteries in camera will not function at all, was 100% O.K. when last used, any ideas please

Check to make sure the replacement battery or batteries are correctly installed. There should be some type of diagram in the plastic or label showing the correct orientation. IF the batteries are correctly installed and the T90 still persists in not operating then remove the batteries and clean all the terminals/connections either with a new rubber on the end of a pencil. I have as much as I hate to admit left batteries in my gear and had to resort to abrasive paper affixed to a new pencil to get down inside the battery chamber to clean the contacts. Also and I hope this is not the case the T90 has an internal battery and if this is dead then I'd suggest sending it to a repair facility. Most service places will clean lub and adjust and replace the battery for about $100.00 and Yes the camera is worth it even today in our digital world

The menu button, tools button and others do not work. Did I do something to lock these buttons? Power, volume, channel etc. operate properly. Less than six months old.

The remote is having problems with it circuit board or it CPU chip is failing.Take the remote aparts, take some Q tips dip it in some rubbing alchahol clean the circuit board and those - + battery circuit connections terminals.Wait like about 20 mins, than put the remote back together again. Now,all the contacts points ben cleans out.The remote should work again, not than the remote CPU is failing, sorry now the remote is garbage.Try website like Remotes.com to buy an exact remote or very close to the orignal remote.

1989 Ford F-150 won't start

I have found that Ford products are very sensitive to poor grounds and poor connections at the battery or starter/ starter solenoid. Clean all grounds and terminal connectors really through. Don't just look and judge them to be clean. After market add on battery clamps will corrode where you put the cable into them. Be sure to take them apart and clean there also. Also ck to be sure your battery is putting out the cranking amps it is
rated at. If not sure take it to a shop and have it tested. Good luck.
