SOURCE: Water dispenser slow flow after filter change

When you change your water filter you must purge the line to remove any air or it will continue to flow all over the floor use as large a container as possible it will require you to draw at least 2 gallons of water to purge air in line. Your inlet valve is the reason your water flow is slow it is clogged with sediment from your water supply it needs to be replaced.

SOURCE: No flow after filter change.

G E waterfilters , can be bad when new (all , not just G E ). Put your old one back in , if water flow was fine , and you replaced just because the light came on . Or , use the plastic bypass piece , which came with the refrig , when new . The replace light , works off time and/or usage times only . If you have good water flow and the cubes are normal size , don't change the filter when the light comes on , just reset the light . All "filter" companies , have found the way to sell more filters , the light on dispensors .

Crank no start after driving through foot and a half of waterr

Pull out your air filter! Chances are that you injested water into your Air Intake Pipe. Clean the Mass Air flow Sensor located within the Air Intake Pipe and a new filter and make sure that you dont have water on top of the spark plugs.

My GE Profile side by side refrigerator ice dispensor and water dispensor has quit working. The appliance is less than 4 years old. Wanda

The common connection between the two starts at the water fill valve. I have found also that the filter (water) if clogged, will prevent water flow to both. Change the filter first, cheapest and eaisest.

Water stopped flowing after changing filter

Check the ice maker fill tube coming through the back of the fridge. It may be frozen shut. If so defrost it with a hair dryer.

Low flow from water dispenser

hi, this can be because of the filter. when the water is flowing threw the filter, it is sent threw many channels inside the filter before it reaches the dispenser. this slows it down a bit. this is quite normal but, if it's slowed down to a dribble, i suspect a water valve malfunction or you may need to change the filter.

We have a Frigidaire side by side with the in door ice and water system that utilizes the Pure Source 2 system. Dealer states that the filters whould last forever. After a short period, maybe 4 weeks or...

no water filter on a ref will last forever, the company that built the filter would have filled chapter 7 11 or something

but the filter my or my not be the issue

what is the size of the ice cubes that it is making
are the normal size with no hollow centers
if you use the water in the door does it start out at regular stream and then decrease as long as you are getting water

you have replaced the water valve, i dont think it is bad, keep it as a spare
i wo uld go to the line valve that the ref is connected to the house plumbing and if it is a saddle valve, remove it and check for an obstruction at the saddle valve, and while it is removed bore ou the hole into the pipe it is clamped to to 1/8 of an inch with a drill bit and you should be ok

Water Dispensor

The water line is frozen inside the freezer door. Open the freezer door and take a hair dryer to warm the inside of the feezer door. Check the water dispenser every 5 minutes to see if the line is unfrozen. Water line is ran from the bottom to the waterr dispense unit. Usally take 10-20 minutes to unthaw water line inside of freezer door. Good luck.
