Re: power pasword problem
The only way to remove it that I know of is to remove the bios battery and leave it out for a while and then replace it. The only problem with this is that the battery is soldered to the motherboard. The motherboard would have to be removed and taken somewhere to have this done

Go on line to the phone manufacturer with your computer and get on a chat line to ask your questions about overriding the password protection. If they do not have a chat line ask for technical support!
This could be a Windows password or a system password or both. If you don't have the Windows password and the former owner can't tell you what it is, you might have to erase the disk, reinstall Windows and thus solve the problem. A System password is a theft protection that can only be changed if you know the password. It is embedded in the laptop hardware. Ask the former owner what the password is, otherwise there is no solution but to ask Dell Service.

The "Administrator Password" can be used in both the "Enter Administrator Password" and "Enter Password" dialog boxes. • Press "Play" to change the "Administrator Password". • The factory default of "Administrator Password" is "1234". If you forgot your administrator password, do the following to retrieve the administrator password: • An unique 6-digit "Universal Password" which is printed on the Security Card (please check accessory in the box). This unique password is the number which will be accepted by projector anytime no matter what the Administrator Password is. • If losing this security card and number, please contact with an Acer service center.
The router does not ask for a password unless you log into the setup page @ 192.168.2.1
So it must be the software that is controlling the wireless adapter ont that laptop. I would uninstall/reinstall the software for the wireless card. And then set it so that windows controls the wireless conne If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it. Thanks, Joe
