Fuji S2 Pro Smartmedia is Microdrive

Smartmedia is Microdrive and camera just purchased as used from eBay... Camera appears to be taking photos OK but nothing to see on LCD screen and there are no photos to download.. Focus is set on AF-S mode. No media write-protection and media is formatted. Batteries have power..

I'm only an amateur but have followed instructions from the manual and cancelled custom settings.
