SOURCE: I need a operating manual for a Husqvarna 25r weed

This is the closest I could get to your exact model. There is a 250R on the site (which includes other models as well). This is the manual for a Husqvarna 26r.

Husqvarna 266se everything is brand new piston, rings cylinder carb coil muffler and it still won't start even checked the timing it is set right

did you replace the worn out seals on the crank shaft?
if not then the compression made when the piston comes down into the sump to push the mixture up in to the cylinder is lost and there is no air to compress for the next power stroke
when the piston goes back up , the low pressure in the sump sucks air past the worn seals and not an air/fuel mix
probably the reason that you thought that you had to replace the rings and piston in the first place

The initial fuel mixture settings are 1-1/2 turns from seated on each.
  1. Set at best mixture after running,
  2. Set Idle speed at 2500 rpm
  3. Then for best at full throttle and not exceed 12500 rpm.
  4. If the engine want to go above 12500 rpm enrich the high mixture a little to limit the speed.

Husqvarna 25r - is this a good model?

The 25R was a badged engineered machine ( not made by Husqvarna ) the first model was a Mitsubushi engine, the later version was a Mariama, both were good machines in there day, they were offered with a line head and a grass blade, they were as you can guess approximatly 25cc, the early version had points condensor ignition, and later on had electronic, parts are now becoming hard to get, so be aware.

Carburetor setting for Husqvarna 372xp chainsaw

The jet screws are fuel not air screws, the more they are unscrewd the richer the mixture becomes, basic settings are one and a quarter on the L screw and one turn on the H screw, you will have to fine tune from there, idle speed should be around 3000rpm, and max speed should not exceed 13000rpm, this should be set with a suitable engine tacho, when fine tuning always start with the L screw first, start gently screwing it in, the revs will start to increase as it leans off, when it starts to die because its too lean, unscrew until the revs pick up again, as you keep unscrewing you will hear the revs start to drop because it is becoming richer, leave it there, now blip the throttle, it should pick up instantly, if not turn the screw out a further 1/8 of a turn, the H screw is like a govener the more you screw it in the faster it revs, so do not exceed the 13000 rpm or this is a good chance it could seize, before any adjustments the fuel filter in the tank should be clean or replaced, the air filter should be cleaned and fresh fuel should be used.

What are mixture screw settings, wind n and how many quarter turns out?

Mot Husqvarnas will run on a basic setting of one turn out on the H screw, and one and a quarter on the L screw, you will have to fine tune from there, they are both fuel not air screws, so the more you unscrew them the richer the mixture becomes.

My husqvarna 178 keeps cutting out on full throttle have tried to adjust the L and H settings with no success any ideas?

As far as i remember Husqvarna never produced a model 178, however if adjusting the mixture screws does not help there is either a fuel blockage in the fuel filter in the tank ( replace filter ), or the fuel screen in the carb ( strip clean and service carb ), check the fuel hose hose for splits or cracks, asthis will greatly effect the running

What is fuel air mixture screw settings on husqvarna 371k

I will admit that I am not particularly familiar with this manufacturers specific models, but I will state that for most small 2 stoke motors I seem to find that 1.5 turns out seems to be a great place to start for both the high and low speed mixture screws. From there it is all fine tuning to get the most out of the engine while still keeping it rich enough to prevent damage.

Saw will not start Husqvarna 350

Hi

An engine needs three things to run(fuel and air mixed together in the correct proportions, compresion of the fuel/air mixture and ignition).Make carb adjustments, check the compression and the spark from the sparkplug.Priming the engine(put some gas into the sparkplug hole).Try to start the engine. If engine is running only the gas from the cilinder, the chain saw has a fuel delivery problem.Disassembly the carb and clean the inner parts.Check the fuel and air filters, fuel hose and gas tank ventil.

good luck!savumihai71
