How to set up cable Tv for sharp 32F630

If you have no other components and the TV is cable ready, the cable just screws or slips onto the appropriate connector on the back of the TV. If you have any components then it becomes a little more difficult. IF it is not cable ready then you will have a cable box that will feed you TV with either composite video or s-video and stereo sound. If you have a stereo system it will go between the cable and the tv again feeding the tv with the appropriate cables.

Cannot connect DVD Player to cable ready television

If your tv does not have the standard 3 plug video ports ( Yellow, White, Red ) then you will need an RF modulator to step in between the Direct TV box and the tv on the cable line.

HD ready?

If it is HD ready it will have HD component cable hookups. They are the red, blue, and green color coded hook up. You may also have RGB hookups which will look like a usb port. If you have any of these hook ups located on the TV then it is HD ready. If not then you were told false information. Let me know if you have any other questions.

My ge tv digital ready?

Your TV is NOT digital ready. IF you do not have cable or satellite, you will need a converter box. If you do have cable or satellite you have nothing to do or worry about as the cable or satellite box will automatically do the conversion for you. Hope this helps

Digital Cable Ready Question

Hey barfinkl1,

"Digital cable ready" TV's have a built-in feature that allows them to receive both standard and high definition signals, typically through the use of CableCARD technology instead of a set-top box.

While this specific Samsung model (HL61A750) is not digital cable ready, it does feature both an ATSC and Clear QAM tuner. This means that it should still be able to receive locally broadcast and unscrambled over-the-air digital signals, but will require a set-top cable box to receive any kind of scrambled digital signal.

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron
