MotoTec dirt bike has 3 setting for speed but each setting is under powered.. On high the bike might hit 10mph with 50 pound rider on asphalt.. Batteries are good and run forever on a charge. Fix?

You get what you pay for.
The setting for speed are 5,10,16 mph.
You want anything faster you would have to do major rewire of the bike to over volt and current on the motor and additional batteries - cheaper to buy a faster bike.

I have a sakura s200 electric bike can i make it any faster ?

Change out the gears with a higher ratio that turns the wheels faster for the same motor RPM. Another method is find a motor that has a higher rpm capability.

i had the same problem and after a while i discovered that it was overheat! inside the frame is the batery and beneath of it is the power system. i beleive that its possition is wrong! ok , it must be sealed so it can be protected from water but dont forhet that it is aircooled!!! when i opened it and tried to remove it was burning hot! that must damaged something inside there...but after a while it started again like nothing happend! i left the bottoms plastic open and i pushed it to its limits! as long as the overheat safety was on the open air ihad no problem! when i closoed it up it started not working again!

What size batteries would i need to go farther? can i put a bigger hub motor in it

Depends on the watt of the motor to use a bigger battery, or it may damage the motor. and a bigger hub motor can damage the battery and the motor itself......
