My 4 ton goodman heat pump goes into defrost and than after the cycle return in cooling stage at least the indoor coil starts freezing is the expansion valve working corectly

The reason for indoor coil freezing due to coil dust blocked-(Clean coil). 2. Less rpm of indoor f.motor. (Replace capacitor). 3. Short of gas. (Find leak and repair and then recharge gas.)

My refrigerator stopped cooling and my freezer stopped freezing but the freezer is still cooling

Same thing with our GE Eterna Series - off and on for the last two weeks. Took back panel off, looked around, vacuumed dust build up off of the fan blades, etc.; everything worked fine for five good days. Then frig went out stopped cooling. Off and on for the last week. Unplugging it works for a day then back to not freezing and or colling.

Kitchen aid KSRG25FKSS04 freezer is not freezing

Hello, few things to check:

1) Remove dirt / dust that has accumulated on the condenser coil located on the back of the fridge, or underneath. Use a vacuum to clean off with.

2) Remove dirt / dust in / around compressor area. Make sure you turn power off first as there are several areas in this area that can "bite."

3) Look for heavy frost / ice buildup in the freezer compartment. Defrost if necessary.

4) Make sure the fan is blowing in the freezer compartment.

5) Make sure there is air flow from the vent at the top of the refrigerator compartment. This air is driven by the fan in the freezer (most models).

6) Loading a lot of unfrozen food into the freezer compartment will have the appearance of the fridge going out, but is actually functioning normally as it removes heat from the food so it will freeze.

7) Your thermostat is not working correctly. Move it to the coldest setting if not already done so. Listen for the compressor to kick on. If it doesn't, bad t-stat.

Thanks

Not cooling flashing 3 code

a little more information would be helpful. what is the model and manufacturer of the refrigerator? there may be a legend to let you know what 'flashing 3 code' means. a few things you may want to check are: 1. if there are fans in the refrigerator make sure there is sufficient air flow space 2. be sure your condenser coils are clean and free of dust and/or grease buildup 3.see if your evaporator is freezing up 4.be sure the thermostat is calling for cooling and your compressor is running.

Not cooling or freezing. compressor and fan running

Hi, you say compressor and fan are running, you have 2 fans, a condenser fan motor in the back behind the panel at the bottom, and the evaporator fan in the freezer. When you check the condenser fan in back by the compressor, check the front of the coil to make sure it is clean as the fan pulls air through the coil to keep internal pressures down. You may have a sheet of dust on it. Check these things and get back to me. Keep me posted.

My regfrigrator has not been cooling or freezing as well as it use to. Do I need a new part, or more coolant?

Maybe, but first remove the panel below the front door and clean out all of the dirt that is visible. Also, vacuum the back vents.

The best way to do all of this is to first vacuum what you can, the use the blower end of the shop vac and blow it out. After that, clean up the dust in the room...

Xbox 360 freezing

Clean your disc, and keep objects away from the sides and back of the console... to allow cooling. Also might want to consider getting a cd lens cleaner, it'll get the dust out of there.
