SOURCE: I just installed my Delta Multichoice Valve Trim

If you look inside the shower head from the back where the threads are you can see a flow restrictor, if you take it out you get a lot better flow.

SOURCE: How do you remove cartridge from 1400 series delta

Take off the handle and the cover piece. There is a large nut holding the cartridge in. Be careful taking it off so you do not twist the cartridge socket off the rest of the valve.

SOURCE: Plumber installed a delta multichoice valve trim

not all that familiar with your particular faucet. but in my experience, most plumbers dont put grease on the valves when installing them . the factory just uses enough grease to get the valve in the faucet. if you have extremely hot water and use it . it wont take to long for it to cause this problem.. just an opinion. i cant imagine how the buildings shutoff could have anything to do with your problem.

New installation of a delta rp19804, valve does not close

Sometimes, 'grit' (or something) can get caught in the cartridge... preventing it from closing completely.

Delta's tech support people might be able to talk you through 'flushing' the valve:

DELTA: 1-800-345-3358

If that doesn't fix it, Delta will probably be willing to replace the cartridge for you.

Cartridge not fittingn into the valve body

It looks like a Delta Monitor valve. Is it a Delta part or generic? Generic cartridges are junk and could be the problem, or maybe solder or trash or a valve seat is stuck in the valve body. There is also a possibility it is upside-down. It does take some force to push the cartridge in, line up the grooves and push

Am replacing old style 2 handle valve with new Delta multichoice. What is the size of the rough in hole I need to cut for valve?

When you buy the R10000un valve, the rough-in will be just slightly larger than the square black plastic plate that comes with the valve.

I installed Delta shower faucet 132900 and I could not shut the water. What did I do wrong?

Did you solder the valve in? If so you may have got it to hot. Or debris could have gotten in the valve. Turn the water off, remove the handle and cartridge. Check cartridge for damage or debris
