My tv is panasonic viera with model no. TH-L32C20X the problem is the green light is on and blinking 20 times then turn into red light..the power is not working

This is on a protection mode. Since the back cover has to be opened for investigation, it is better to call in a qualified service technician.

Two blinks, can i get the trouble code?

2 light blinks means that the 15v rail on the main D-board is not receiving 15v properly. This causes the TV to go into SOS protection mode and shut off.

My panasonic tv won't turn on just a blinking red light on the front

Your TV is in protection mode. This indicates a fault with the power supply, or other board. First try leaving it unplugged for a while, and trying another outlet.

If none of that works, then it's pretty much toast. Since you've got a CRT, I wouldn't recommend checking the tv out yourself. Take your TV to a local repair shop.

Panasonic TH-46PZ85U Plasma TV All 3 HDMI was working fine with cable box, PS3, XBOX360. I used to connect my pc to the tv with a dvi-hdmi cable, but recently unplugged it. So I tried to plug in the same...

Symptom:
TV shuts off unless all the input (phono and HDMI) cables are disconnected. The
symptom may be intermittent.
Cause:
There is an abnormal AC voltage entering the TV from one of the input cables or AC
outlet.
Remedy:
Follow the Testing procedure to determine if there is a problem external to the product.

Concept
Constant symptom
If the TV no longer shuts off when all input cables are disconnected, then one of the
input cables is introducing abnormal voltages into the TV. Panasonic Plasma TV sets
have 3 wire AC plugs.
As a result, abnormal voltages introduced into this TV will cause the TV to shut off for
protection.
Intermittent symptom
If the abnormal input voltage is borderline (marginal), the TV shut off symptom may be
intermittent. However the cause may still be detectable with a voltmeter.
Protection Proof:
Release the protect mode - the TV has to be unplugged to reset this protection circuit.

Threats from the HDMI input:
Excessive voltage from an HDMI cable connected product will activate the Plasma TV’s
protection circuitry. Placing an isolating / buffering connector (sometimes called a voltage
conditioner) between the TV and the HDMI input cable often solves the problem.
Testing -
Unplug all the HDMI inputs from the TV. Turn on the TV. Plug in the HDMI inputs one at a
time. The cable that causes the TV to enter the protection state is connected to the product
that has the excessive voltage (and signal). Avoid connecting this product until an isolating
connector is found.

What does it mean when my plasma tv turns off by its self? its a panasonic viera plasma tv have had for bout two years

Basically when it turn itself OFF automatically all the time, the TV goes into "Protection Mode". This happens when there is a damaged circuit board inside the need to be replace and turn itself OFF to protect the other ones from being damaged.

A TV service tech will have to look at it to find out which boards need to be replace. There are about 7 different boards in your TV that would cause this problem.

Panasonic Plasma TV blank screen

One of the circuit boards, possibly including the power supply has a critical failure. The power supply is in the protect mode. This type of set is serviced by board swapping, and then doing the necessary adjustments to match the new boards as required.

It would be best to call the factory authorized service for a quotation.

If the set is out of warranty you may find it fairly expensvie to service.

(panasonic TH-42PZ77U plasma) the tv will power on but before the picture comes up it powers back off. Red power light is flashing.

in protective mode the tv does not turn on and light is blinking, typically we must proceed by elimination as some faulty sections are preventing the tv to switch on. unplug the output power connectors from the power supply until the latter stop clicking. if it is still clicking after every of the output rail have been disconnected, then the power supply itself is faulty.

hope this helps!

Set up new tv - doesn't work

Warranty time. The TV most likely went into protection mode because a part went bad inside.
I would take it back to the store and exchange it for a new one. 90 day warranty policy.
Have them test the new one to make sure it works so you don't have to waste another trip.
Good Luck
