SOURCE: conveyor dryer wiring

Newer electrical codes call for a 4 wire receptacle. never splice appliance cords, it isn't woth the safety issue and they are not very expensive. you need to access the terminal block, which is where the cord goes into the dryer. the cord you use (3 or 4 wire) will depend on what is on your wall. if you wall has a 3 wire plug then you will need to connect the green wire from the center terminal to the frame of the dryer. there is probably a hole and screw next to terminal block. that is where the green wire goes on a 3 wire hook-up. if you have a 4 wire receptacle then the green wire should be hooked to center terminal (white). you will have to obtain the proper cord (pigtail) from a parts supplier.

Bosch 02 sensor downstream on a 1996 Jeep grand cherokee 4.0 motor. I have no wire harness to match the colors to. bosch has two white, one grey and one black. Jeep has orange/green,black/brown,black/blue...

The two white are the heater
The black the ground
The gray the O2 Sensor output,
you back probe to check Voltage
& Switching Times

The vehicle wiring harness does not have to match
the sensor, BUT -- you need to have the same
connector on the sensor

If you have a universal cut & splice, you have junk,
and we given the wrong part

Get a Bosch or NGK, OEM sensor & just
plug it in

Had to re-wire the tail lights after a small fire which fried the rear wires. Cut out all the melted wiring in the harness and re-spliced the wires. tail lights work, turn signals , but the brake lights do...

See your GM dealer they will print out a wiring diagram for you, Look at the brake switch under the dash, I,m pretty sure they have a couple of white wires and an orange. The wire harness runs along the roof on the L/F side, What we use to do is run temp wires to test and varify everything and then do it perminantly. Good luck Kirk fc6fc

How do i connect a kenwood krc 394 radio cassette,+ve battery, eth, and speaker connections.

Head unit color code:

12V-Yellow
12V switched-Red
Ground-Black
Illumination or Dimmer-Orange/Orange w/white stripe
Blue-Power Antenna
Blue wwhite stripe-Amp turn on

Whites-FL speaker
Greys-FR speaker
Greens-RL speaker
Purples-RR speaker
(Black stripes negative)

If you have a female harness to connect to the veicle side you will pretty much color match. The only exception is that you may only have an amp turn on wire but only a power antenna on the vehicle. In this case you would connect blue w/white stripe wire from radio harness to the blue antenna wire on the vehicle side.

If you are doing a hardwire (factory plug has been cut off) you can obtain a wiring code for your vehicle at www.the12volt.com for most vehicles.

Suburu radio wire harness. trying to match up with a new soni deck

Hello uze7, Here is the wiring match up for a 2009 Subaru Forester using the Metra 70-7552 wiring harness: NOTE: The actual harness will be listed as a Nissan harness, but has been used by Subaru since 2007. Also, I'm assuming that your Sony deck uses the standard color code. If not, you should have a manual that lists the function along with the colors. Match the wiring by function, not by color (although the colors may be the same). 2009 Subaru Forester Radio Wiring Color Code: Battery BLUE/RED (+) RADIO HARNESS Accessory YELLOW/RED (+) RADIO HARNESS Ground BLACK (-) RADIO HARNESS Illumination VIOLET (+) RADIO HARNESS Dimmer BLACK/WHITE (-) RADIO HARNESS Power Antenna YELLOW/BLACK (+) RADIO HARNESS LF Speaker (+) BROWN LF Speaker (-) BROWN/WHITE RF Speaker (+) BLUE/WHITE RF Speaker (-) BLUE/YELLOW LR Speaker (+) WHITE/BLACK LR Speaker (-) RED/YELLOW RR Speaker (+) GRAY RR Speaker (-) GRAY/RED Metra Harness: Yellow ? 12V Constant Red ? 12V Accessory Black - Ground Orange ? Right Rear Speaker (+) Purple/Black - Right Rear Speaker (-) Gray ? After I pulled the old CD player out of my car the wires end plug dosnt match up to my new Pioneer DEH-11E. Is there a way to make it work or should I take it back.

Hello al_will00,

The color coding of the wires from aftermarket equipment will not match up with vehicle color codes. The new player will work OK when you have matched up the wiring by function. There's 2 ways to do it: 1) Find the color coding of your vehicle wiring and splice/tap into the existing harness; 2) Purchase an aftermarket wiring harness that plug in directly.

The 2nd option is best. It allows you to make all of the connections (usually color for color) sitting at a table or workbench insted of from behind the poorly lighted dash. It also allow you to reinstall the OEM radio if you ever decide to do so. Splicing or tapping will make it more difficult.

I'd visit one of the online retailer like www.crutchfield.com or www.sonicelectronix.com to purchase a wiring harness. You can determine the correct model number from various sources, including the manufacturer, such as Metra here. Just enter your vehicle make, model and year information to see a list that the vehicle.

Hope this helps.

Installing washing machine motor P/N 35-5022, need wiring schematic to hook up to machine internals

The black or brown connection block on the motor should be color coded to match the harness. If not you will need to remove the control panel and find the service guide sheet. This will give you the wiring diagram for the whole machine.
