GU2700XTSB Dishwasher not filling

We installed this dishwasher last night. All of the connectors look fine, and the dishwasher turns on, but it does not fill. We've checked the obvious things, like turning on the valve to the hose that supplies water to the dishwasher, but we think the solenoid is not working.

The problem is most likely the water inlet valve. This is a solenoid that opens when there is power to it. It is a common problem on dishwashers and washing machines.
It is usually blue in color with a couple of wires running to it.
It is usually right where your water line hooks up to the unit.
You can google dishwasher inlet valve and see a picture

They are not very expensive and are usually fairly easy to replace.

If you need more help, post a comment.

Thanks,

Tim

Dishwasher worked fine last night, this morning it is not working

In some supply systems, there is a safety valve ( commonly referred to as a shuttle valve) that has a small ball bearing that blocks the water from flowing if a water line bursts.. This is supposed to be a safety feature to prevent flooding but can be an annoyance if that ball moves and blocks water flow from coming in.
That, or your water inlet valve may be the prime suspects for this problem..
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Rick

Main pump not running?...then it will either be the program controller or the main pump itself.....I would guess the pump first.
