Question about HP Deskjet F4180 All-in-One InkJet Printer
When i load my paper into the F4180 inkjet...............i hear the wheels turning to grasp the paper, but the paper won't feed. the computer says it is either a paper jam or feeding issue.
also, how do u change the ink cartridges?
Sounds like it needs cleaning:
You will need : 1 can of "compressed air", 1 container of ether rubbing alcohol or some form of Goo-Gone.
1. In short blasts (NOT LONG ONES) blow through the paper path. Open any paper jam access trays before doing this so the bits escape.
2. Using a SMALL amount of Goo-Gone and either a Q-Tip or small dust free cloth, clean all the rubber rollers on the bars. Cheap paper leaves a fine dust and after time will make the wheels very slick.
Doing this every other month can save you from jams and is just a good maintenance plan for your printer.
Also don't use 'cheap paper'.
Good luck! :)
