You have a low voltage issue, check for any bare wires at stat or unit, have you done any home repairs " such as hang pictures and so on" sometimes homeowners nick the 24v lines which can cause that porblem.

Board keeps failing

You should never have to do this. I can understand a board going out, but not every year. Either someone is ripping you off, or you have an electrical issue causing the board to malfunction. You will need to test the amp draw off the unit also. Goodman boards are bad about the blower relays going bad, but not every year! You will also have a fuse on your board that prevents damage to the board. Make sure this fuse is max amp of 3amp.

No power at control board

Check the fuse on the circuit board its just like a car fuse. If this is popped you have a short in you low voltage usually at the contactor coil in side the outdoor unit. It could also be a tripped breaker check that also. If this helps please rate me and do a testimonial.

Blower stays on

You have popped a fuse on the circuit board on your unit. You will have to unplug your unit, remove the doors (panels) and look in there and find the fuse, pull it and replace it with the same kind. It will be either a 3 amp or 5 amp

Furnace wont come on... i have no led light at all.... have electric to the board the fuse is good and i have gas coming to the furnace any ideas? thanks

Look around for some popped rollout switches on the furnace.
Try to figure out why the safety would pop out. The safetys are set to pop in case of air restriction or flame rollout from rusted burners.

5 amp fuse continues to blow on control board for both AC and heat. External compressor unit with air handler and gas furnace in attic.

You have a short on the 24 volt side of the unit. Check the thermostat wire for signs of pinching or direct short.

Traced wires and found the wires to the humidifer were the cuprits. I beleive the solenoid may be no good. After disconnecting the wires to the humidifier, A/C and Heat are working fine now .

Replaced Fuse on Board. Unit keeps running

Sounds like crossed or shorted wire going to the thermostat. Disconnect the wire from the thermostat and see if it shuts off. If it does, it is the thermostat. Then disconnect either the white wire or red wire at the control board and see if the furnace shuts off. If it does, its the wiring. If it continues on, it is the control board. Remember you will need to tape the access panel door switch to the on position to be able to run the furnace with the panel off.

3amp fuse keeps burning out

Hi,

when a fuse blows, its telling you that theres a fault. this could be a loose or broken wire.
or alternatively, the fuse rating is too low. you could check the wires are tight. and also possibly try fitting a 5 amp fuse. check first that the fuse is rated correctly for the appliance. usually 3-5 or 13 Amps.
